The Frasers - part 1

Dad was proud of his Fraser roots, but as the last of his generation he worried that Fraser lore would die out with him. In 2003 he sat down and wrote all the stories he knew about his uncles and aunts. While his text was more a collection of anecdotes and reminiscences rather than a formal, chronological history, his effort is all the more entertaining for it.

I worked with Dad to sort the stories by individual, and to match up photos from his albums. Together we assembled a 150-page book to share this content with the family. Dad was pleased to have captured his memories, and it has become a source of some of the blog posts already here. Rather than continue to mine content in bits and pieces, I have posted the pages of the book itself, in parts.
